My Quran Journey is run by a group of Muslims who do this work for the sake of Allah. We show no ads, and we do not track you.
What we collect. Nothing. The site has no accounts, no login and no forms. It uses no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. We do not ask for your location.
What your browser keeps. So that you can carry on where you left off, the site saves a few small settings in your own browser. They stay on your device. They are not sent to us, and we cannot see them:
- your choice of the light or dark theme;
- where you left off: the last surah or lesson you opened;
- which videos you have watched and which lessons you have completed;
- your reading and video settings: the text size, whether translations and ayah boxes are shown, and the small video window's corner and speed.
You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser's settings.
Services outside the site. Some parts of the site come from other services. When they are used, those services receive your device's address (IP) and your browser's details, and their own privacy policies apply:
- Videos are played by YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and the player's script comes from youtube.com. When you play a video, YouTube may store data in your browser.
- The fonts on every page come from Google Fonts.
- The maps on the Prophets and Seerah pages use a map library from cdnjs (Cloudflare) and map pictures from OpenStreetMap.
Some links take you to other sites: Google Drive, OneDrive, sunnah.com, quran.com, Google Maps and WhatsApp. Those sites' own policies apply there.
Our web host. The server that hosts the site may keep ordinary access logs, such as your IP address and the pages you open, for security and upkeep.

My Quran Journey
